Class Arrangement

Form One

Form 1:

When new Form one students admit to the school, they will be allocated to a class according to their performance in the Hong Kong Attainment Test for Chinese Language, English language, and Mathematics. The students' ranking in the whole form is the key for class allocation. No. 1-34 will go to class 1A, no. 35-68 will go to class 1B, and the rest will be allocated to Class C and D.

Upon admission to Secondary 1, students will be assigned to classes based on their Hong Kong Attainment Test scores in Chinese (x1), English (x2), and Mathematics (x1). Students ranked 1st to 34th in their grade will be placed in Class A; students ranked 35th to 68th in their grade will be placed in Class B; and the remaining students will be divided evenly between Classes C and D. The actual number of students in each class will depend on the total number of students in that year.

Form Two & Three

Secondary 2 and 3:

According to the grand total mark, all students will be ranked. No. 1-34 will go to Class A, no. 35-68 will go to class B, and the rest will be allocated to Class C and D.

Based on the students' total marks for the year, students ranked 1 to 34 will be placed in Class A; students ranked 35 to 68 will be placed in Class B; and the remaining students will be divided evenly between Classes C and D. The actual number of students in each class will depend on the total number of students in that year.

Form Three promoted to Form Four

Secondary 3 to Secondary 4:

According to the grand total mark, all students will be ranked. No. 1-40 will go to Class A, 41-70 will go to class B, and the rest will be allocated to Class C and D.

Based on the students' total marks for the year, students ranked 1 to 40 in the class will be placed in Class A; students ranked 41 to 70 in the class will be placed in Class B; and the remaining students will be divided evenly between Classes C and D. The actual number of students in each class will depend on the total number of students in the class that year.

Form Four promoted to Form Five or Form Five to Form Six:

From Secondary 4 to Secondary 5 or from Secondary 5 to Secondary 6:

According to the total mark of Chinese, English, Mathematics and Liberal Studies, all students will be ranked. No. 1-40 will go to Class A, no. 41-70 will go to class B, and the rest will be allocated to Class C and D.

Students are assigned to classes based on their combined scores in Chinese, English, Mathematics, and Liberal Studies. Students ranked 1st to 40th in their grade will be placed in Class A. Students ranked 41st to 70th in their grade will be placed in Class B, and the remaining students will be evenly divided between Classes C and D. The actual number of students in each class will depend on the total number of students in that year.
