Multiple learning strategies

Our school has always agreed with the Education Bureau’s curriculum reform philosophy and actively promotes and supports students’ diversified learning. Measures include:

Promote different learning strategies:

Introduce different learning strategies to students, such as information search, note-taking, reading strategies, memory management, etc., to enhance their learning skills.

Reading Lesson:

Reading classes are arranged every week to cultivate students' good reading habits, thereby strengthening their language skills and enhancing their interest in learning.

Good book recommendations:

Teachers and classmates will recommend books to enhance the reading atmosphere.

Online reading:

Provide and recommend online resources to students, including e-books, electronic materials, and self-study materials, and encourage them to read more, practice more, and study on their own, thereby improving their comprehension, analysis, and language skills.

Reading Rewards Program:

A school-based reading award program is offered to students from Secondary 1 to 4. Extensive reading programs are offered in both Chinese and English to increase students' exposure to extracurricular reading. All junior high school subjects require students to complete extracurricular reading and submit reading reports to extend their learning opportunities.

Book Fair:

We collaborate with various disciplines to regularly organize themed book fairs. We also hold parent-child book fairs twice a year on Parents' Day to encourage parent-child reading.
