English Study Tour to Sydney (June to July 2025)
The English Department is excited to share the highlights of our Study Tour to Sydney, which took place from late June to early July 2025. This enriching experience provided our students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Australian culture and history.
During the tour, students explored iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, gaining insights into Australia's architectural heritage. Besides, they visited the Australian Museum to discover the nation’s natural history and indigenous cultures, and enjoyed an up-close experience with wildlife at Taronga Zoo.
The journey also included a visit to the Hyde Park Barracks, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a breathtaking excursion to The Blue Mountains, where students appreciated stunning landscapes and the region's ecological significance.
Additionally, participants experienced university life during a tour of the University of Sydney and engaged in interactive lessons at Homebush Boys High School, which fostered cultural exchange while enhancing their language skills.
Overall, this Study Tour was an invaluable experience that broadened students' perspectives, encouraged teamwork, and enriched their school life through hands-on learning. Thank you to all who participated and made this journey unforgettable!
