今天的開學典禮，象徵著漫長暑假的正式落幕，也代表著一個全新的學年即將拉開帷幕。在這個嶄新的起點上，我想送給各位同學兩份禮物：

第一份禮物是「努力」。

同學們，學習從來不是一件輕鬆的事。在這一過程中，我們需要保持高度專注、不斷反覆練習，更要時常對抗內心想要放棄的念頭。但我想告訴你們：努力的價值，不在於超越所有人，而在於不斷超越昨天的自己。每一次你想放棄卻仍然堅持下來的時刻，都在悄悄塑造一個更有深度、更有自信的你。這就像登山，每一步或許艱辛，卻能讓你站得更高、看得更遠。請相信，一點一滴，日復一日的努力，絕不會白費！

第二份禮物是「勇氣」。

新學年裡，你們必然會遇到各種挑戰 — 也許是更艱深的學科內容，也許是人际關係的新課題，也可能是從未嘗試過的活動任務。真正的勇氣，並非毫無恐懼，而是儘管心有畏懼，卻依然選擇向前。我希望你們能擁有「嘗試的勇氣」：不怕失敗、不怕丟臉。失敗了又如何？須知道：每一次嘗試，都是寶貴的學習經歷，其永遠比原地踏步更有價值。我也希望你們能擁有「堅持的勇氣」：當感到疲憊或看到別人似乎輕鬆前行時，請有勇氣對自己說：「再試一次！」請記住，成功的背後，往往就是無數次的堅持和積累。

在這段探索與成長的旅程中，你們從不孤單！所有老師都是你們最堅強的夥伴，我們會一直支持你們、陪伴你們、幫助你們！

最後，祝願全體同學新學年學業進步、身心健康！讓我們在挑戰中不斷成長，在奮鬥中閃閃發光！

We are gathered here today to formally mark the beginning of the new academic year.  At this important moment, I would like to share with you two essential qualities that will guide us through the year ahead.

The first is Effort.

Learning requires dedication and persistence. It involves focused attention, repeated practice, and the strength to resist the urge to give up. True effort is not about being better than everyone else, but about improving each day. Every time you choose to continue despite difficulties, you are building a stronger and more confident self. Like climbing a mountain, every step forward brings you closer to the top. Your hard work will never be wasted.

The second is Courage.

In the coming year, you will face new challenges - whether in your studies, relationships, or unfamiliar activities. Courage does not mean having no fear, but rather moving forward even when you are afraid.

I hope you will have the courage to try - to not worry about making mistakes or being embarrassed. Every attempt teaches you something new, and that is always better than not trying at all.

I also hope you will have the courage to persist - to encourage yourself to try again when you feel tired or discouraged. Behind every success, there are countless efforts that others may not see.

Remember, you are not alone on this journey. Your teachers are here to support, guide, and walk alongside you.
